Working Out Personal Salvation

July 31, 2006

Father, by grace I am saved through faith; and that is not of myself; it is the gift from You. I became a partaker of Your divine nature, and my spirit was made brand new. Now, thank You that You are helping me work out my own salvation with fear and trembling as I resolve the consequences of the sin issue in my everyday life. As I renew my mind to Your Word, the engrafted Word will save my soul bringing my entire being—my spirit, soul and body-into harmony. Thank You for enabling me to walk out my salvation to Your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen

Words of Life

July 30, 2006

Father, my delight is in the law of the Lord, on Your law I meditate day and night. I am like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever I do prospers Thank You for Your Word that goes out from Your mouth: it will not return to You empty, but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it. I submit to Your Word and will speak words of life, in the name of Jesus. Amen

Faith for Finances

July 29, 2006

One of the most frequent prayer requests we receive concerns finances. Are you in debt and wondering how you will ever get out? Do you tithe according to Malachi 3, do you give? God is able to make all grace and earthly blessings come to you in abundance (2 Corinthians 8:9). You have choices to make; you can choose to believe His Word and release your faith. Your faith will require action. Cut up credit cards; do not allow advertising to control your emotions. Get financial counseling. In her book, Dream Catcher, Zoe Hicks discusses Faith and Finances. She writes: Whether we are head over heels in debt, striving to reach a financial goal for a future need, in need of money to fulfill a God-given vision, or seeking to use our money creatively to help those who are less fortunate, faith is a powerful ally. Zoe and her husband proved God by tithing when they were in need, and He opened the windows of heaven. She writes: Get into the pattern of spending less than you earn and use the excess to pay down debt. Keep seeing yourself as debt free and imagining how great you will feel when you get there. Expect ideas to come to you on how to spend less or earn more or both.

Father, it seems that we never have enough. But I’m here today to ask you to deliver me from financial bondage – from this debt that I’ve accumulated over the years. Forgive me for robbing you of my tithe, and I admit that I’ve been so consumed with my own needs that I haven’t thought about blessing anyone else. I release my faith in You asking the Holy Spirit to help me stand by your promise to supply all my need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You are a very present help in trouble, and You are more than enough. I submit to the constant ministry of transformation by the Holy Sprit, and purpose to pray for others who are in debt. Just as you did for Job, you will turn this captivity, and bless me that I might be a blessing to others. In the name of Jesus, I worship You only, and I will have no other gods before me.

Commitment to Pray

July 28, 2006

Father, I commit to pray and not give up, standing in the gap before You for my family members, asking You to draw them with cords of love. It is Your will that all men should be saved. With the Holy Spirit as my Helper, I will blow a trumpet in Zion (our churches) and sound the alarm warning all who live in the land that the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand. Amen

Father, my Lord and my God, I love You, and purpose to walk in Your ways, and keep Your commands; then I will live and increase, and You will bless me…. My labor shall not be in vain, but my wealth shall increase. The Lord shall increase me more and more—my children and me. Lord, make our love increase and overflow for everyone in the name of Jesus. Amen

Father, I hold fast to Your word that says I will not cast my young nor be barren, and that the number of my days You will fulfill. Whether it is to walk out the days until the appointed day of the delivery of a child, to walk out my own life to the fullness of days, or to walk out the birth of a vision you have placed within me, it will not be aborted. I call it forth in the name of Jesus at Your appointed time in the right place. Hallelujah! Scripture Reading Exodus 23:26

Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. I am His house, if I hold on to my courage and the hope of which I boast. I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. Thank you Holy Spirit for helping me to stay on my guard, and stand firm in the faith. I am a man/woman of courage; strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I will be patient, and take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near. Amen

Father, thank You for giving Your angels charge to watch over me, to lead me in the way You have prepared for me. Your appointed angel goes before me and keeps me in all my ways. I will pay attention to him and listen to what he says. I will not rebel against him. Your Name is in him; I will listen carefully to what he says, and do all that You say. Then, You will be an enemy to my enemies and will oppose those who oppose me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

The good man–the blameless, the upright…the man/woman of peace–has a wonderful future ahead of him/her. For him/her there is a happy ending. I thank You that my spouse is a peacemaker who exercises great ability and discernment in bringing Your wisdom into our marriage. He/she pursues peace. The atmosphere of our home is filled with harmony instead of strife and discord. It is filled with unity rather than division. Our home is filled with creativity and excitement, because we walk in the love of God. Hallelujah! and Amen
