Dear Prayer Partner, let us pray together.

More Than a Conqueror

Who shall separate me from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword? For Your sake I am killed all day long; I am accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me. Hallelujah! Amen

Joint Heirs With Christ

Father, I thank You for loving me. I have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but I receive the Spirit of adoption by whom I cry out, “Abba Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with my spirit that I am a child of God, and if a child then an heir—heir of God and a joint heir with Christ, if indeed I suffer with Him, that I may also be glorified together with Him. Father, I love You because You first love me. Amen

Reconciled to God

Do you know that God isn’t holding anything against you? He no longer sees you guilty, but redeemed through the shed blood of Jesus. God reconciled you to Himself. When you received Jesus as your Savior, God gave you the ministry of reconciliation. He [personally present] in Christ, reconciled and restored the world to favor with Himself — that includes you. He is not counting up and holding against you your trespasses [but cancelling them]. God has committed to you the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). Being reconciled to God, you can now take the word of reconciliation to others.

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You for saving me from wrath through Christ. If when I was Your enemy, I was reconciled to You through the death of Your Son, much more, having been reconciled, I shall be saved by His life. I also rejoice in You through my Lord Jesus Christ, through whom I have now received reconciliation. I shall rejoice in You and be glad in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Spiritually Minded

It is possible to renew the mind to the Word of God. You can replace carnal thoughts of worry, fear, self-pity, and other self-defeating thoughts with peace. You can keep your mind filled with self-doubt, self-rejection and become self-absorbed — or you can become spiritually minded and change your self-image replacing negative thoughts with God’s thoughts toward you. Choose to be God-inside-minded.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I bind my mind to the mind of Christ, my will to the will of God and my emotions to the control of the Holy Spirit. I choose to walk according to the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, setting my mind on the things of the Spirit. To be spiritually minded is life and peace. I count myself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Marriage

The marriage covenant is sacred; it is to be a reflection of Christ and the Church. The husband and wife are to be in submission one to the other out of reverence for their Lord. The husband is instructed to love his wife just as Christ loves the church, and live with her according to knowledge in order that their prayers will not be hindered. The wife is to honor and support her husband in ways that show her support for Christ. In other words a husband and wife are to learn to cooperate with one another, and accept each other’s individuality. Keep in mind that together you are heirs and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ, and help each other grow spiritually and fulfill your individual and corporate destinies. Love is not passive, love requires effort; it isn’t a feeling, but a decision.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I thank you for harmony in my marriage. Thank you for the tenderness that is expressed, promoting love and kindness. We are of one mind and we live in peace and harmony with each other. God’s peace and love dominates our marriage, home and family! Jesus is Lord! Amen

Friendship

Friendship should never be taken for granted. Jesus calls you His friend, and He is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Throughout your life He sends different people to you. Some are friends for a season. God sends them to meet a special need, or for you to meet a special need for them, and then you move off in different directions. Others remain friends throughout life. God sends friends who share your disappointments, your hopes, your highs your lows. They see your faults and love you anyway. You learn to resolve conflict, trust one another. You become iron sharpening iron; helping each other grow in character, and in the love of God. God uses friendship to shape and mold us: If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You for my friends. We are kind to one another, speaking words of grace into each other’s lives. We are there to laugh and cry together; we trust each other, encouraging one another in the Lord. We confess our faults to one another and pray for one another that we may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart. Thank You Jesus for teaching me how to be a good friend. Amen.

The Right Path

For many years I walked darkened pathways that were rocky. Here and there was a glimmer of light, and there appeared roads that emanated radiant beams of ight. Every time I tried to walk toward the light I would run into obstacles that turned into deadends. How could I find the path of life? On a glorious memorable day the Light broke through and the Pathway of Life lay before me. I could see and I could hear the Voice of my Father: This is the way. Walk ye in it! I read the Bible day and night. His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). Read His Word, heed His Word; it is life to all who find it, and health to all your flesh!

Prayer:

Father, show me the path You want me to take and point out the right road on which I should walk. Today I deny myself and take up my cross and follow You wherever You may lead. Lead me beside the quiet waters; restore my soul. You are guiding me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. You are my God and I will praise You in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Arise to New Life

Many Christians who love the Lord have suffered trauma that left emotional wounds. Often this one event will hinder their spiritual development. You are not responsible for what happened to you, but you are responsible for your present day response. You have the Life of God in you and I encourage you to speak Resurrection to the death that trauma brought to your soul. You have passed from death to Life!

Prayer:

Father God, I arise to new life this day. I shake off the entanglements, hurts, bruises and sins of the past. It’s a new day! Thank You for doing a new thing in my life, Father. Forgetting the former things, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. I have the Life of God in me! Amen.

Changing Our World

Turning on the radio I heard a voice singing, What the world needs now is love sweet love. It will take faith, hope and love to change the world; the greatest of these is love. Does the world see the love of God that has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit, or are you hanging on to unforgiveness, resentment, fear and bitterness? Jesus gave New Testament belivers a new commandment: Love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (Jo 13:34-35). When believers begin loving as Jesus loves, we will change our world. It may be one person at a time, or you may be sent to other nations to proclaim the gospel. Whatever you do let it be done as a true representative of Jesus. Love is your identification badge!

PRAYER:

Father, Your Spirit has anointed us to change our world! Help us to be imitators of You, and bring good news to the poor, and healing to the brokenhearted. Give us loving hearts so we will share Your love bringing freedom to those in bondage. We make it our goal to bring a refreshing to others, and we are refreshed! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Abundant Life

Do you know the character of God? Do you know that He is a good God, and that good and perfect things come from Him? I have heard people blame Him for everything good, bad and indifferent. He sent Jesus to give you Life–Life more Abundant till it overflows. God isn’t in the business of killing, stealing and destroying, He is in the business of blessing His children with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus!

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for sending Your son Jesus Christ that I might have life and have it to the full till it overflows. I receive Your abundant life this day, accepting it in overflowing proportions. Freely I have received; freely I give, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
